Product description Designed to maximize the usability of their Polarie Star Tracker, the Vixen Optics Polarie Tripod includes two ball heads - one that goes on the tripod and another for the Polarie tracker. The tripod has four leg sections with working heights from 22" to 72.5" to accommodate a wide range of users, with adjustable leg angles for compensating for rough and uneven terrain. A single control handle can be extended or retracted with a crank, and a friction-lock enables you to perfectly align and position your camera and mount without backlash or settling. Its 6.6-pound payload capacity can easily handle the Polarie and most DSLRs with lenses. Weighing in at 4.7 pounds, it offers a steady platform for your wide-field imaging, and with its 10" folded length, it's easy to store and transport.
