Product description The SL-30 Micro Boy Stereo Cordless Microscope from Vixen Optics provides everything that is needed for a beginning explorer. This metal frame microscope features a 30x total magnification that is ideal for studying minerals, insects, plants, and collectibles like coins and stamps. With a working distance of 2" and travel of 1.6", there is enough room to work with a variety of samples. In addition to the included mineral set, you will be able to easily secure optional slides with samples using two metal clips attached to the circular base-plate stage. The coarse focusing with rack and pinion offers two large knobs ease of use. To illuminate samples and specimens, this microscope also has a detachable LED penlight. - Optical System and Viewing
