Product description The StarGuy Porta II Alt-Azimuth Mount with Berlebach Wood Tripod from Vixen Optics features a manual Porta II alt-azimuth mount that accepts any optical tube assembly (OTA) with a Vixen-style dovetail plate. The mount has a user-friendly friction-control system that eliminates axis locks or clutches. When you need to find your subject, simply move the telescope by hand. Dual flexible slow-motion handles are used for fine adjustments and tracking. A Berlebach Report wood tripod provides a steady base for the mount. Made of ash with a clear varnish, it is not only visually appealing, its weight stabilizes the telescope and reduces vibration. This two-section adjustable-height tripod has a removable matching wood accessory tray, spread-restraining chains, and black anodized metal fittings and mounting plate. - Porta II Mount
