Product description Vortex Optics' 1-6x24 Viper PST Gen II Riflescope is a rock-solid scope, ideally suited to provide you an upper hand in close quarters combat. Its superior quality optical system matches the precision and strength of the mechanics to deliver the accuracy and reliability required in demanding situations. With the Extra-Low Dispersion (XD) optical elements, treated with the high-transmission XR full multi-coatings and ArmorTek protective coatings, you will obtain bright, clear, glare-free, and true color images along with protection of exterior lens surfaces from scratches, dirt, and oil stains. To enable with the laser-sharp shot placements, the scope features the illumined 2nd focal plane VMR-2 MOA reticle. The reticle features a modified German #4 style with three medium posts and an illuminated crosshair containing a system of MOA ranging and compensation markings. The illumination rheostat is located on the windage and elevation box and offers a graduated control knob with 10 brightness levels. The parallax-free performance is set 100 yards.
The high-quality aluminum housing is built around a durable single-piece 30mm maintube. One of the highlights of the mechanics is the Precision-Glide Erector System that ensures zooming action remains smooth under the most challenging conditions. For consistent repeatability and ease of adjustment, Vortex outfitted this optic with a Precision-Force Spring System. The scope's windage and elevation provide exposed graduated turrets with red fiber optic position markers on the knobs. The entire construction is robust, argon-filled fogproof, and O-ring sealed waterproof to ensure reliable performance for years of service.
