Product description The 4-16x42 Diamondback HP Riflescope from Vortex Optics is a versatile 1" main-tube scope featuring a built-in zoom eyepiece and the Vortex-exclusive Dead-Hold BDC reticle. This is a modified duplex with hashmarks on the hoizontal and lower-vertical axes to aid in ranging, hold-over, and ballistic drop compensation set on the Second Focal Plane (SFP). The scope produces crisp and clear images with accurate color representation by using Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass and Vortex's proprietary XR optical coatings. ED glass corrects for chromatic aberration to eliminate color and image distortion on the edges of the field of view, while the anti-reflective XR coatings ensure as much light as possible is transferred through the optical tube for a bright and clear view. Internally, the Diamondback has the Precision-glide prism system that ensures that the zoom function remains smooth and easy in all weather and temperature conditions.Windage and elevation turrets allow for 1/4 MOA per click shot correction to get you on-target, and they are re-settable to zero after your initial sighting. An easily accessible side focus wheel gives you parallax correction. The exterior optical surfaces have ArmorTek coatings that bead and repel water and oils, while offering protection against scratches and abrasions. Its aluminum housing has a scratch and corrosion-resistant anodized finish, and is argon-filled for water and fogproof performance. - Performance
