Product description The 5-20x50 Razor HD Riflescope from Vortex combines a high-transmission lens system and weather-sealed 35mm scope tube with target-style MOA turrets and side focus parallax correction to create a versatile optic for intermediate to long-range targeting. Vortex uses an apochromatic objective lens and optically indexed extra-low dispersion (HD) glass elements to maximize the light gathering ability of the optics while minimizing chromatic aberration and preserving clarity. The resulting images are bright and sharp throughout the zoom range.This Razor HD scope is configured with an EBR-2B reticle in the first focal plane. The Enhanced Battle Reticle (EBR) pattern has a ballistic crosshair centered on heavy posts at three, six, and nine o'clock. MOA-based subtensions on the horizontal and vertical axes assist range and holdover calculation; dotted holdover lines divided in 1 MOA increments help to determine moving target leads and wind drift compensation.Reticle illumination is controlled using a dedicated wheel on the eyepiece bell. This control wheel is offset to the left side so it doesn't block the shooter's view of the turret settings. The illuminator has eleven brightness settings, and an Off position between each setting allows the shooter to quickly return to their previously used level of illumination without unnecessary cycling through other settings. Fiber optic indicators on the adjustment turrets and eyepiece bell help the shooter maintain awareness of their settings even in low-light conditions.Complementing the Razor HD's shooter-friendly design and image quality and is the build quality to match. The scope housing is machined from aerospace aluminum, anodized with a corrosion-resistant hard coat, and filled with argon gas to ensure fogproof and waterproof performance. Vortex uses a range of construction features, including machined brass erector tubes and steel pad floats for friction reduction, to reduce mechanical wear and maintain the scope's reliability. Exposed lens surfaced are finished with ArmorTek, Vortex's proprietary scratch-resistant coating that also repels moisture and dirt.Included with the 5-20x50 Razor HD is a flip-up objective cover that has a built-in killFLASH anti-reflection device that helps to conceal the shooter's position by preventing light from reflecting off the objective lens. This scope also comes with a 4" sunshade, bubble level, and it is backed by Vortex's lifetime warranty. - Optical Performance
