Product description With powerful magnification, multi-coated glass, and a housing designed to withstand the elements, the 8x25 Solo Monocular from Vortex is suited to birding, hiking, hunting, travel, sightseeing, concerts, sports, theater – anywhere you want a good look at distant details. Its 8x magnification delivers a steady image, and the close-focus distance of just 16.4 makes the Solo a versatile optic, able to observe objects nearby as well as far away. Its rubber-armored housing is O-ring sealed to keep out water and dust, and purged with nitrogen to prevent internal fogging no matter the conditions. Diamond knurling on the exterior provides a pleasant and secure grip, and the twist-up eyecup and 15mm eye relief make the monocular comfortable to use for people who wear eyeglasses.
