The Vanquish can focus on objects as close as 7.6 feet for viewing butterflies or wildflowers, while its 8x magnification can bring distant details into view. It has twist-up eyecups to accommodate eyeglasses and a knurled, easy-to-operate center-focus wheel. A diopter adjustment is provided on the right eyepiece to resolve differences in the user's eyes.
