Product description The Summit SS-P Aluminum Tripod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head from Vortex is a lightweight 5-section aluminum tripod that can hold 5 lb worth of gear. It extends up to 54.5" and folds down to just 14" for travel. It has a split center column so that when one section is removed the tripod can reach a minimum height of just 6.3". A ballast hook on the bottom of the center column allows you to add weight to increase the tripod's stability.
The included 3-way pan/tilt head has one handle that locks and unlocks the panning and tilting, and a locking knob that controls the plate angle adjustment. A quick-release plate allows you to quickly attach or detach your camera, binoculars, or spotting scope from the tripod. Additionally, a carrying case is included to protect your tripod during transport.
