Product description Designed for mobile usage, the VOX AC2 RhythmVOX Bass is a battery-powered amplifier tailored specifically for electric basses. It gives you 2W of power through its two miniature 3" speakers. Five effects are on hand, including chorus, delay, reverb, blends of chorus/delay, and chorus/reverb.
With the supplied Mode switch, you can switch between EQ voicings for different bass tones. Normal provides a meaty tone, Flat is more aggressive and suitable for slapping, and Scoop gives you a tone suitable for finger-plucked funk.Gain, tone, and volume controls are provided for shaping your sound, which can be made quite dirty indeed by juicing the gain knob. You'll also note the Rhythm/FX section, which gives you access to 81 rhythms segmented in nine different styles. This gives you a fun underpinning to play along with, whether you're practicing at home or playing out.
The amplifier sports a 3.5mm headphones output for silent practicing, as well as a stereo 3.5mm auxiliary input jack. A tuner is also built into the amp. Six AA batteries are required to power the unit, though you can also use an optional AC adapter.
