Product description Providing classic VOX tone in a compact combo enclosure, the Pathfinder 10 is a 10W RMS amplifier designed for guitars. It features a 1 x 6.5" VOX Bulldog speaker capable of handling 8 Ohms, as well as two distinct timbres: clean, and overdrive. Its gain control adjusts the level in the preamp stages, while its volume control dictates the over-all level of the amplifier itself. Therefore, in clean mode, you could crank the gain and keep the volume low to generate a fat, distorted sound at lower volumes. Bass and treble controls offer further tonal shaping.
In addition to its cabinet, the Pathfinder also offers a 1/4" line out / headphone jack. Connecting this output mutes the primary speaker, so if you have a pair of headphones with a 1/4" inch connection point, you can route the amp's sound into your ears and give your neighbors some much needed peace and quiet. Likewise, you can use this jack to plug straight into a PA, mixer, or digital interface to apply some much-desired Vox tone to your DI signal. Não penso em usar o amplificador com nenhum dos recursos para guitarra, mas como simples amplificador 'leve' para o violão. Os recursos de grave e agudo tenho no próprio violão, não precisaria de outros. E, também, não pretendo usar os 10W de potência, mas se puder usar 2W já estaria de bom tamanho.
