Product description This Vu Filters 75 x 75mm Sion C Neutral Density Filter Kit from contains two optical glass filters that can be used individually or in various combinations to create a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
The included filters consist of solid neutral density filters that reduce the amount of light entering a lens by three and four stops, respectively. To allow these filters to be placed in front of a lens, a separately available Vu Filters VFH75 75mm Professional Filter Holder or a filter holder system that can accommodate 75mm wide, 2.3mm thick filters is required. - Vu Filters 75 x 75mm Sion C Neutral Density 0.9 Filter (3 Stops) The 75 x 75mm Sion C Neutral Density 0.9 Filter from Vu Filters is an ND filter with an 8x filter factor that provides a 3-stop exposure reduction and is compatible with a Vu Filters VFH75 75mm Professional Filter Holder. Its 0.9 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
This Sion C neutral density filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity as well as color fidelity. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes seven layers of anti-reflection coating. This multicoating also offers greater protection to the filter substrate and helps it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. The Flat Wave Overcoat associated with Sion C neutral density filters provides an additional eighth layer over the multi-coatings on each side of the filter, resulting in an improved beading effect to repel water for greater cleaning efficiency. - 0.9 neutral density filter darkens the image, allowing you to photograph with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required.
