Product description The Aptaris Camera Cage from walimex Pro is designed for the Blackmagic 2.5K Cinema Camera or Production Camera 4K but also fits many DSLR and mirrorless cameras. It provides a 1/4"-20 threaded screw for the camera and offers additional 1/4"-20 threads around the cage for attaching the included cold shoe mount and handle, as well as optional accessories such as microphones, recorders, monitors, or LED lights.
Rod modules on the top and bottom of the cage allow for standard 15mm rods to be added for direct attachment of accessories such as a matte box and follow focus. The bottom rod module has a 3/8"-16 threaded hole for use with a tripod. The cage comes included with two pairs of 15mm rods, in 9.8" and 7.9" lengths. The included two-part handle consists of a grip and riser, and attaches to the cage via a mini rail which can be positioned at any of the 1/4"-20 accessory holes. The handle riser slides onto the mini rail, using a lever to secure it in place. The cold shoe mount can also be positioned at any of the 1/4"-20 accessory holes. -
