Product description Designed for electric guitar players, the Walrus Audio Emissary is a boost pedal that's been engineered to provide extra level and definition to your lead parts, solos, and other standout elements on the stage or in the studio. The pedal provides two independent boost circuits that run in parallel, working together to impart your timbre with a jolt of vitality.
One circuit centers on the midrange, which can either center around 800 Hz or 1 kHz. The toggle switch at the center of the pedal sets the frequency center, and the Mid knob controls the level of midrange boost. A separate Bright boost is controllable via the top Bright knob. This boost utilizes a JFET circuit to provide clean, yet ample headroom. The bypass/engage footswitch works in both latch and momentary modes, so you can either leave the effect on with the stomp of your foot, or hold the switch down for momentary boosts in the middle of passages for interesting effects.
You'll find a 1/4" instrument input as well as a 1/4" instrument output for your mono guitar signal. The Emissary requires a separately-available power supply to run.
