Product description Painted in an Arizona Teal finish with original artwork by Stuart Dooley, the Walrus Audio Fathom is a reverb pedal for electric guitars. It's capable of a wide array of reverberated tones thanks to its Program knob, which gives you access to four different algorithms. With this pedal, you can engage hall, plate, lo-fi, and octavized reverbs. Controls include Decay, Dampen, and Mix for blending wet signal with your dry, unprocessed tone. A Mod toggle lets you apply varying amounts of modulation to the signal, while the X knob's function changes depending on the Program knob, which changes the reverb algorithm. Two footswitches control not only bypass, but also momentary functions that come in handy for lending flavor to specific musical passages. The power supply for this pedal is available separately. - 4 Reverb Algorithms
- Hall: A wide, open, and vast with decay that ends with high-frequency roll-off. The X knob adjusts predelay.
Plate: A full-bodied reverb with a smooth decay. The X knob adjusts predelay. Lo-Fi: A filtered reverb with decay ranging from warm to thin, AM radio timbres. The X knob adjusts filter width. Sonar: A reverb fed with both high and low octaves. The X knob controls octave blend. - Momentary Functions
- When the pedal is in the off position, press and hold the bypass switch to temporarily activate the effect, which will add only a moment of reverb. Releasing the switch turns then the effect off.
Press and hold the sustain switch while the pedal is on to sustain the reverb decay for a dreamy, ambient decrescendo. - Trails Mode
- To turn Trails mode on or off, unplug the pedal and press and hold down the bypass Switch for two seconds while plugging the pedal back in.
