Product description Power up various electronics and refuel as needed with the Watson 4-Hour Rapid Charger Kit with Chroma AA NiMH Batteries and Cases from B&H Photo. This package bundles the Rapid Charger with a set of eight 1.2V, 2500mAh, AA NiMH batteries in multiple colors, and 2 compact carrying cases.
Watson's 4-Hour Rapid Charger can handle 2 or 4 AA or AAA batteries at once. Charging time varies from 100-280 minutes, depending on battery quantity, size, and capacity. An intelligent Negative Delta-V microprocessor doles out the full charge to each battery, while Zero Slope Detection prevents overcharging. In order to prevent damage from excessive current, the Safety Guard Timer automatically shuts off after 6 hours. Additionally, the charger has two indicator lights to keep you apprised of battery status. Switching 100-240 VAC input power enables use in places all over the world. As an extra bonus, storage is easy and convenient thanks to the compact, folding outlet prongs on the unit.
The Chroma AA NiMH Batteries come in red, pink, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, and purple. They feature excellent high-drain performance and can be recharged up to 500 times. In an effort to be eco-conscious, Watson has produced these cells with a mercury-free chemistry. The included plastic cases hold 4 batteries each, and are small enough to fit into virtually any pocket. For higher-capacity AA's in the 2400-2500mAh range, 2 batteries will charge in approximately 140 minutes, and 4 batteries will take about 280 minutes.
