Product description Power up various electronics and refuel as needed with the Watson 8-Bay Rapid Charger Kit with 8 Chroma AA NiMH Batteries and Cases from . This package bundles the rapid 8-bay charger with a set of eight 1.2V, 2500mAh, AA NiMH batteries in multiple colors, and 2 compact carrying cases. The charger's intelligent microprocessor doles out the full amount of juice to each battery while preventing overcharging, thanks to Delta Voltage Protection. The Safety Timer with Automatic Timer Shut-Off senses when batteries are at full capacity and ceases charging. Automatic Charge Current Selection is programmed to choose the optimal current for batteries, while Reverse Polarity Protection, Alkaline, and Bad Battery Protection safeguard the charger and batteries against damage when AAs or AAAs are installed improperly. There's also a discharge function, allowing you to refresh the batteries prior to charging. The Chroma AA NiMH Batteries come in red, pink, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, and purple. They feature excellent high-drain performance and can be recharged up to 500 times. In an effort to be eco-conscious, Watson has produced these cells with a mercury-free chemistry. The included plastic cases hold 4 batteries each, and are small enough to fit into virtually any pocket.
