Product description The JJP Analog Legends Bundle from Waves is a collection of compressor and EQ plug-ins modeled on vintage analog hardware units used by producer and engineer Jack Joseph Puig. It includes the PuigChild 670/660 compressors, modeled on the Fairchild compressor, the PuigTec EQP-1A EQ, modeled his own Pultec EQP equalizer, and the PuigTec MEQ5, based on the Pultec MEQ-5 midrange EQ. - PuigChild Compressor - Dynamics Plug-In (Native/SoundGrid, Download) The PuigChild Compressor from Waves is a plug-in that emulates the sound of the legendary Fairchild compressor. Originally designed for vinyl mastering, what's left of the remaining hardware units command "artwork" prices and are virtual unavailable to most people.
However, the sound characteristics of the unit are universally sought after. The plug-in captures all the nuances of Jack Joseph Puig's Fairchild 670, along with every detail regarding its rich and complex harmonic output. Linked and unlinked modes are included, as is a lateral vertical mode for optimal stereo imaging. - Modeled on a rare vintage Fairchild 670
