Product description Modeled after the Solid State Logic SL4000 E Series console, Waves SSL E-Channel is a plug-in that combines the dynamics section of the SL4000 channel strip with the renowned Black Knob 242 equalizer, originally developed by legendary producer George Martin. It delivers the incomparable sound of the classic console's all-discrete design and its Class-A, VCA chip, and is ideal for recreating that 80's hard-hitting drum sound. - Key Features

- Modeled after the SL4000 E Series console, combining the dynamics section of the SL4000 channel strip with the Black Knob 242 EQ
- Unsurpassed for hard-hitting drum sounds
- Four-band parametric equalizer with high-pass and low-pass filters
- EQ can be switched into the dynamics sidechain for simple de-essing and other frequency controlled dynamics processing
- Dynamics section consists of a soft-knee compressor/limiter and an expander/gate
- Dynamics can be switched to pre-equalizer (default) or post-equalizer
- Q can be adjusted in the LMF and HMF ranges
- Makeup gain is automatically applied to maintain a steady output level
- Includes presets from Grammy-winning mixer Chris Lord-Alge
- Developed under license from Solid State Logic
