Product description Tony Maserati Signature Series from Waves is a bundle of plug-ins created in collaboration with mixer Tony Maserati for treating all aspects of pop music instrumentation. The bundle includes both Native and SoundGrid licenses. - Maserati ACG - Acoustic Guitar Processing Plug-In (Native/SoundGrid, Download) Maserati ACG from Waves is an acoustic guitar enhancing plug-in featuring Tony Maserati's favorite settings for controling and boosting the energy of acoustic guitar tracks. It works for a wide variety of playing styles with controls for bass and treble EQ, compression and reverb. Two "type" switches provide starting points for custom processing.
The ACG 1 setting allows for maximizing levels and sculpting the top and bottom frequencies. The ACG 2 setting has more built-in compression for bringing out the subtilties in a live performance. Both provide appropriate room settings with additional controls for pre-delay and reverb amount. - Maserati B72 - Bass Phattener Plug-In (Native/SoundGrid, Download) The Maserati B72 Bass Phattener from Waves is an all-in-one bass processing chain plug-in. Using the DI setting on an electric or acoustic bass can enhance the instrument's roundness, while keeping it lively throughout the song. The synth setting on the other hand delivers thickness, stereo spread, and harmonic flavor.
The Maserati B72 provides controls for input and output levels as well as knobs for bass and treble control. In synth mode, tone and FX controls allow for emulating the warmth of vintage synths. The plug-in can operate in either insert or send mode, allowing for a variety of chain processing options.

The plug-in's compressor features a single control knob to set levels and is designed for a subtle effect that adds sheen to a mix group. The EQ section has single control knobs for low, mid, and high frequencies. Type buttons allow for selecting the appropriate group.

The five types of guitar tone include Clean, Clean Chorus, Heavy, Thick Rhythm, and Soft Flange. Some of the types can work equally well with other instruments, in particular the Thick Rhythm for Wurlitzer pianos and horns. Either way, the effects are usable in a wide variety of applications.

Modal mode produces a wide soundscape for a piano for instance, with just the right amount of chorus effect to give it life on a vocal demo, or raise a Wurlitzer's presence on a track. Bounce mode adds a bit of reverb and delay, creating energy and movement for a ballad, or a lively feel for a full-band setting.
