Once connected, some quick formatting within the console's interface provides up to 2TB of additional storage, which is enough to store up to 100 PS4 Full HD games or up to 40 PS4 Pro 4K games, based on an average size of 36GB per PS4 HD game and a 90GB average per PS4 Pro 4K game.
Once you have games loaded on this My Passport drive, you'll be able to play them on other PS4 consoles, such as at a friend's house, without the need to re-download or re-install. However, if the game was purchased and loaded from a disc, the original media may be required to verify ownership.
