Product description - MyCloud ProSeries Overview
The My Cloud PR2100 16TB 2-Bay NAS Server from WD comes built with two 8TB hard drives and a video transcoding engine to deliver 4K media content as well as files to networked devices. The My Cloud PR2100 provides you with a total storage pool of 16TB and a variety of downloadable apps to create a streaming HD media server with Plex, edit and share content with cloud services, and set up a surveillance system with Milestone Arcus. WD has armed this NAS server with a 1.6 GHz quad-core Intel Pentium N3710 processor along with 4GB of DDR3L RAM to manage your data and configure the drives in a RAID 0, 1, or JBOD array.
This NAS server is outfitted with two Gigabit Ethernet ports and dual power ports to provide continuous access to your files, photos, and other content. Other notable ports included with the My Cloud PR2100 are two USB 3.0 ports that allow you to share devices or back up to external storage drives. Aside from ports, it comes with SmartWare Pro software and supports Time Machine for a quick and effective solution to create a continuous, automatic backup system.
