Product description The matte black Top Mount Base #402M from Weaver has been machined to tight tolerances for a custom fit. This aluminum base offers maximum strength so that the rings will hold tight. - Compatibility

Note: For the Stevens Savage/Stevens 200 or shorter tube scopes or red dot scopes use #402 extension front base or one-piece base if available. Extension base allows an extra 0.689". The Winchester 52 with the hole spacing same may require bolt and/or safety alteration, otherwise firearm cannot function safely and properly. Consult with a qualified gunsmith. For the Winchester 52 and Winchester 70 Long Action Rifles, check the spacing of the tapped holes for the rear base and compare it to the hole spacing for the front base.
