Product description Housed in a compact all-metal housing, the SkyLux LED Light from Westcott is a powerful LED source capable of delivering up to 1200 tungsten equivalent watts of output at a digital-friendly color temperature of 5600K and a high CRI of 94. Wescott keeps the SkyLux lightweight by separating the flicker-free ballast from the head, allowing for a multitude of placement options. Dimming control from 30-100% makes excessive repositioning or use of scrims and ND filters unnecessary. The SkyLux has a 60-degree beam angle and comes with a tilting 5/8" stand mount and a reflector with an umbrella slot. Its extra-long 20' power cord ensures ample movement around the studio. - LED Studio Lighting
- Daylight balance, 1200W equivalent studio LED fixture with a CRI Rating of 94+ allows photographers to utilize their favorite modifiers with the addition of a single Bowens mount speed ring

- The SkyLux is a full spectrum light source housed in a high-quality, compact, all-metal constructed body which employs a uniquely designed flat front panel to protect the LEDs. There's no protruding bulb or globe to shatter
- Built to Use Modifiers of All Sizes
- The Bowens S-Type mount allows of softboxes, umbrellas, snoots, barn doors and gels. The durable construction allows photographers to utilize their largest modifiers, like the Westcott 7' Octabank with the simple addition of a Bowens S-mount speed ring
- Built-In Diffusion Panel
- The built-in diffusion panel allows photographers to shoot without adding a modifier and still achieve a soft, consistent output
- Recessed LED
- The frosted, diffused LED source is recessed and spring-mounted to thwart impact damage
- Dimmable
- Control the output of the SkyLux from 30 to 100% with the rear stepless control dial
- Keeping Things Compact
- The flicker-free external ballast helps minimize the size of the SkyLux unit by locating power components away from the SkyLux housing
- Extended Cabling
- The 20' power cord gives you ample mobility in the studio

- Unlike units utilizing halogen or tungsten bulbs, the SkyLux LEDs give off virtually no heat permitting a lifespan of over 50,000 hours
