Product description - Introducing the Westcott Solix LED
Portable and powerful, the Solix LED Light, which is available here as a Compact Kit from Westcott, will create a continuous light that will appeal to photographers and videographers who often find themselves on the move. The daylight-balanced 5600K fixture boasts an output of 2100 lux at 3.3' with a wide beam angle of 120 degrees, accurate color, a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 97. Also, for speed and ease of use the Solix features an integrated, rotatable speed ring that directly accepts many softboxes and octaboxes up to 4.5 lb.
The durable housing features a control dial and display for adjusting the power output of the light, which is flicker-free all the way up to 960 fps. The light also features a D-tap connection for either AC or DC power and draws just 60W, even with an impressive output of 2100 lux at 3.3'. It comes with removable barndoors and a frosted diffusion cap for added control over light quality. These are mounted via an all-metal magnetic ring for quick attachment and removal. A Tether Tools PowerStrap is bundled in as well for securing the power supply directly to a stand. Additionally, it has a built-in tilting bracket with 5/8" receiver and umbrella receptacle for mounting to a stand and comes with a case.
