Product description The DI2-025-BK Di2 Hardwired Dual Direct Box with XLR Fanout (25', Black) from Whirlwind is a hardwired version of the Director2, combining features of 2 of the DIRECTOR series direct boxes into one unit. The Di2 makes it easy to keep your stage uncluttered and trace your cables to prevent patching errors.
The box has a black finish and is available in other colors for convenient coding and organization. The box has 1/4" input and output connectors that are wired in parallel. The inputs and outputs are isolated from each other using the same pro-grade TRHL-M transformer with a metal shield that's found in the popular Director box. Each channel also has a ground-lift switch to eliminate hum caused by ground loops. The Snakeskin XLR fanout is ideal for converting unbalanced signals from instruments and other sound sources. - Combines features of previous boxes into one compact unit. It is ideal for cable tracking and organization, as well as converting unbalanced audio signals from instruments, CD players, sound cards, and more
- Color-coding and the Snakeskin XLR fanout provide convenient tracing and patch identification. This box has a black finish. Other colors are available separately
- The 1/4" input and output connectors are wired in parallel, and are isolated from each other using the same pro-grade TRHL-M transformer with a metal shield that's found in the popular Director box. This allows you to use the box as 2 completely separate DIs without fear of creating ground loop interaction
- Each channel has a ground-lift switch to eliminate hum caused by ground loops
