Product description The Director direct box from Whirlwind converts an unbalanced line, instrument or speaker level signal to low impedance balanced microphone level, which is then suitable for imputing to a console or microphone preamp. The unit is a passive device and therefore requires no external power supply. The unit features a ground lift switch and a 30 dB pad for selecting between line/instrument or speaker level signals. - 1/4" parallel wired in/out jacks
- 30 dB pad switch for selecting between line/instrument or speaker level input signals
- Ground Lift switch to help eliminate hum and buzz
- Switchable high cut filter to eliminate amplifier noise
