Product description For connecting audio gear, the 43' Medusa Standard Series 6 XLR Male to XLR Female Fanout Snake Cable by Whirlwind is a good professional choice. It can be used in various environments for microphones and mixers, in applications such as, live stage, theater, recording studios, and more. It is constructed of multipair cable, with a heat-shrunk fanout at each end. The Medusa cabling consists of heavy duty, flexible, Belden NEC CM rated, multipair cable. Each pair contains, two twisted 24GA 7x32 polyethylene insulated conductors, with 100% foil shield and 24GA drain wire. The fanouts feature XLR connectors and all channels are numbered. Snake cables make it possible to combine several balanced (microphone) cables into one smaller diameter multipair cable. This makes setup and teardown much faster, with less tangling and clutter. - Fanouts with multiple layers of rugged heat shrink at the most critical points.
- Fanouts feature Whirlwind connectors with engraved numbers.
- A wire mesh hanger supports the fanout at the board.
