Product description The MultiSelector PRO 4 x 1 Instrument Switcher from Whirlwind is a unidirectional, 4-to-1 instrument switcher incorporating innovative features. The one rack space MultiSelector PRO Switcher allows selection of any 1 of 4 inputs to a single output. Each of the 4 inputs is electronically buffered with an input impedance of 1 MΩ, delivering pristine frequency response when used with instruments with passive pickups. Signals pass through the unit transparently with no coloration and the digitally controlled optical switching is completely silent. A low noise floor and high channel isolation make the MultiSelector PRO Switcher suitable for most professional applications. The switcher features 4 momentary switches on the front panel to select between channels, with the active channel identified by a red LED. Activating a channel disconnects the previous selection. A separate, green LED indicates connection of the the MultiSelector MLTSELPRO4XR Remote Foot Controller (sold separately). The rear panel contains the 4 unbalanced 1/4” input jacks, the 1/4” output jack, and a female XLR connector for connecting the remote footswitch (sold separately). The unit is AC powered for ultimate performance with no external wall wart needed. The MLTSELPRO is set for 120V operation. The MultiSelector PRO also features an individually buffered tuner output on both the front and rear panels. All 3 non-active inputs are routed to the tuner outputs so a guitar tech can tune any non-active instrument by just turning up its volume. This output is electronically isolated from the main signal path. It is not necessary to unplug the cable or wireless transmitter from the instrument to tune and then plug back in to the instrument. - Professional instrument switcher; any 1 of 4 inputs sent to one output
- Totally silent optical switching
- High impedance inputs provide sonic transparency
- All non-selected inputs are routed to the tuner outputs, allows tuning without unplugging instruments
- Selecting a channel on the rack or remote (sold separately) turns off previous selection
- AC powered for ultimate performance
