Product description The podMIXai from Whirlwind is an active mixer which lets you combine a dynamic microphone with music from a smartphone, iPad, tablet, MP3 player, and more. The output sums the mix to mono and can be connected to a single line-level input of a sound system for use in gyms, banquet halls, conference rooms, or for paging/announcements over background music. The podMIXai offers individual volume controls and on/off switches for matching, mixing, and muting the music source and the microphone. The microphone level can be boosted up to 60 dB, while the music level goes up to 20 dB. Red and yellow LEDs help you meter and confirm the output level. With its small tabletop enclosure and rugged, ergonomic design, the podMIXai is easy to use, transport, and store. - Combines a dynamic microphone with a stereo audio source such as smartphone, iPad, tablet, MP3 player, and more
- Balanced output connects to a single line-level input of a sound system (mix is summed to mono)
- XLR microphone input accepts dynamic microphones and can provide up to 60 dB of gain
- Music input via a single 3.5mm stereo TRS jack provides up to 20 dB of gain
- Variable level controls on both the mic and music inputs allow level-matching and mixing between the music source and the microphone
- On/off switches for both mic and music inputs allow convenient muting control of each signal
- Bass-cut switch on the mic input helps reduce handling and wind noise
- LED meter with yellow and red LEDs confirms output level
- Small tabletop enclosure with rugged, ergonomic design
