Product description The Xchecker Cable Checker Set from Whirlwind is for checking and testing common balanced audio lines. It can be used to test for inter-wire shorts, open conductors, non-standard wiring, and intermittent conditions. A single light confirms cables are correctly wired and operating properly. A power LED monitors the 9V battery life. It features a two-piece design and is built with an XLR female terminator on one piece, and a male XLR terminator on the second piece, for direct connection to an XLR cable. This allows for testing of installed cabling up to 500' long. The Xchecker uses proven technology to analyze every condition of 3-wire pin-to-pin cables.
