Product description The AudioLink Pro Pocket Portable Wireless Instrument and Audio Monitoring System with 2-Way Wireless USB Audio Interface by Wi is designed for wireless recording and performance. The system consists of a pocket-sized transmitter and receiver. You can attach an instrument, such as an electric guitar, to the transmitter unit and attach the other to an iPad, Windows Tablet, Mac computer, or PC via USB 2.0 for recording. Alternatively, you can attach in-ear monitors to one unit and receive a signal from the other unit attached to a tablet or computer.
The system has an effective transmission range of 100 feet over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and a frequency range from 15 to 20,000 Hz. It utilizes two internal diversity antennas to improve reception and reduce drop outs. The system's internal rechargeable battery provides 4-6 hours of operation on a single charge. An optional AA battery adapter can extend the operating time up to 13 hours.
You can set the system to mono line in, stereo line in, or as a two-way USB 2.0 wireless audio interface. As an audio interface, the system can be used both for sending signals from your instrument to the computer, and for receiving mixes to listen to through your in-ear monitors. For convenience, the system includes controls for volume, mute, and track transport. It can also be used with a computer for voice over internet protocol (VOIP) applications such as Skype, AIM, Live, and Yahoo! For protection, the system comes included with a hardshell carrying case.
