Product description The WindTech WSF-1 12 x 12" Windscreen Foam (0.25" Thick) is a square foot of high density Polyurethane SonicFoam used to isolate vibration and wind noise during film and TV production.
These 0.25" charcoal gray foam blocks, act as a versatile tool in custom and hidden mic placement. They protect mics on book shelves, behind the sun visor in cars, and in many other locations prone to unwanted rumble. Use them as blanket windscreens, with stage floor mics, and to hold large condenser microphones in place when it's impractical or visually distracting to use a shockmount or boom. - Sound Isolation for Hidden Mics
- For live broadcast TV or field recording, Windscreen Foam provides exceptional shielding from wind and vibration. The raw material can also be shaped to secure large delicate mics hidden on stage or inside set props.
- Protective SonicFoam
- The WSF-1 is made from SonicFoam, an acoustical hypo-allergenic material that also protects microphones from dirt, moisture, and impact.
