Product description The Blackmagic Production Camera 4K Modification to RED Epic/Scarlet Mount from Wooden Camera converts your Blackmagic Production Camera 4K to an interchangeable mount system compatible with RED Epic/Scarlet lens mounts. This lets you use optional RED or third party adapters to mount PL, Nikon, Canon, Leica, and BNCR lenses on your Blacmagic Production Camera 4K. In addition to converting your Blackmagic Product Camera 4K to an interchangeable RED Epic/Scarlet lens mount, the modification also replaces the original rubber faceplate with a wooden faceplate with a wooden record button. The original rubber faceplate can be reinstalled if requested. For proper flange focus, modified cameras require the use of an included shim set. The correct shims are installed on your camera prior to shipping. The modification requires your Blackmagic Production Camera 4K to be sent to Wooden Camera's service center. At the time of purchase, you will receive a PDF document containing a unique modification number. Follow the directions on the sheet to send the camera to Wooden Camera. Please note: This modification procedure will void the Blackmagic Design warranty. - Completion Time
- You will be contacted by email with a date for which to send your camera in to Wooden Camera's service center. Estimated completion time will be provided by email, with an estimated time between 5 and 10 business days from the time the camera is received at the service center.
- Service Center Locations
- Cameras will be modified at Wooden Camera's main facility in Dallas, Texas or our service center in Munich, Germany (whichever is closer). If you have a preference to send your camera to one or the other please contact us prior to placing an order.
