Product description The Wooden Camera Canon C500 Unified Accessory Kit (Advanced) is a camera support package designed for the Canon C500 camera. The C500 accessory package includes the Top Plate (C500), a top mounting camera cheese plate, Unified Baseplate (C500), a quick-release baseplate, two 15mm Rods (15”), Safety Dovetail (8") , NATO Handle Kit (Cheese, 70mm), a quick-release handle, the Universal Hot Shoe, Rod Clamp (15mm LW), and Recorder Slide.
The Top Plate for C100, C300, and C500 provides numerous 1/4" and multiple 3/8" threads on the top and sides for EVF mounts, handles, monitors, and other accessories. You can also attach an optional Wooden Camera Shoe Handle Mount to this top plate and attach the original Canon handle or monitor to the Shoe Handle Mount.
The Unified Baseplate is designed for use with Sony FS7, Canon C100mkII, C300mkII, C100, C300, and C500 cameras. It is a quick-release baseplate that provides lightweight 15mm rod support at the correct lens height. 15mm rods pass through front to back and have 2 locking thumbscrews per side. The baseplate releases quickly in two ways, giving the user the option to take the 15mm lightweight rods or to leave them behind.
Machined from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and maximum rigidity, the 15mm Support Rod (15") comes in a pack of 2 and is used for mounting accessories including follow focus systems, matte boxes, lens supports, and servo motors. The rod is chamfered at each end to ease sliding accessories on and off the rod and for inserting the rod into your rod clamp.
The 8" Safety Dovetail Plate is an ARRI standard dovetail with a stopper screw on one end and a safety latch on the other to prevent accidental camera detachment. It features threaded 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes for accessory mounting and tripod attachment. The dovetail can be attached to a shoulder pad for custom handheld configurations.
The 70mm NATO Cheese Handle Kit is designed for quick-release attaching and detaching on the camera without screws. To attach the handle, you can simply slide it onto a Safety NATO Rail and tighten down the thumbscrew. The cheese grip provides mounting points for additional accessories.
Upgrade and accessorize your rig with the Universal Hot Shoe. This auxiliary shoe attaches to your rig via an ARRI style, 3/8"-16 thread with adjacent locating pins. It can also be attached with the included 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws. It provides the user with a common "cold" ISO shoe mount for attaching lights, monitors, microphones, and other photo accessories. It is important to note that this shoe lacks electronic contacts and cannot be used to trigger external speed lights or strobes.
The 15mm Rod Clamp attaches to 15mm rods to add 1/4"-20 screw-holes to your camera rig. It can also be turned over and bolted to cheese plates, cages, battery plates, and more.
The Recorder Slide allows you to attach a power plate on one side and on-board recorder on the other. It features mounting patterns for the Ki Pro, Hyperdeck, Codex, Odyssey 7Q, PIX 240, V-mount and Gold mount batteries, wireless audio receivers, and 1/4"-20 accessories (via threaded and pass through holes). Dual rosette mounts and sliding capability allow for positioning in any direction. - Top Plate for C100, C300, C500 The Top Plate for C100, C300, C500 from Wooden Camera provides numerous 1/4" and multiple 3/8" threads on the top and sides for EVF mounts, handles, monitors, and other accessories. You can also attach an optional Wooden Camera Shoe Handle Mount to this top plate and attach the original Canon handle or monitor to the Shoe Handle Mount. UPC: 610079106826
- Unified Baseplate for FS7, C100 Mk II, C300 Mk II, C100/C300/C500 The Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate supports 15mm LWS rods at the correct lens height, and offers a vertical 15mm rod port for incorporating the optional Unified Lens Adapter Kit. This Kit allows you to support different lens adapters from Wooden Camera, Metabones, and other brands.
The Baseplate includes the Core Unit, a Lower Quick Dovetail tripod plate on the bottom, and a Dovetail Camera Plate for the Sony FS7 and Canon C100 Mk II, C300 Mk II, and C100/C300/C500. Other Unified Baseplate Dovetail Plates are also supported, allowing for quick swaps with a variety of cameras.
The Baseplate provides two quick release options. You can remove the Dovetail Camera Plate only and leave the Core Unit with your rod pair behind, or you can remove the Core Unit from the Lower Quick Dovetail, in which case you'll have a dovetail on the bottom of the Core Unit that's compatible with any 2060 Dovetail, Safety Dovetail, or Shoulder Rig.
The Dovetail Camera Plate features a long slot along its center that lets you secure it to the camera with multiple screws (included), which can be set up to 2.8" (70mm) apart. It also has a non-slip rubber surface that will prevent the camera from twisting.
The Dovetail Camera Plate has an ARCA Swiss standard dovetail compatible with many third-party products. It also has threaded 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the bottom for attaching to gimbals or other compatible tripod plates. The Lower Quick Dovetail has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for attaching to tripod plates or ARRI standard bridgeplates, such as the Wooden Camera Unified Bridgeplates.
The Unified Baseplate can also be upgraded for VCT-14 compatible mounting options. Simply attach it to the optional Unified VCT Wedge Plate, which can then be mounted on the Unified VCT-14 Tripod Plate, also sold separately. The Unified Baseplate is backward compatible with Wooden Camera's original Quick Dovetails (Standard, DSLR, and Large). - Key Features

- 15mm Rod Clamp The Wooden Camera 15mm Rod Clamp attaches to 15mm rods to add 1/4"-20 screw-holes to your camera rig. Among the variety of accessories that can be mounted to these screw-holes is Wooden Camera's QB Battery Back Plate. This plate comes in different versions, each designed to have a different type of battery plate and ultimately battery attached to it. With these attached, the QB Battery Back Plate can be mounted right onto the screw-holes of the Rod Clamp. The ability to attach so is especially useful when you have no way of mounting a battery directly onto your camera and as an alternative are looking for a way to get the battery near the camera (so you can connect the two). - Recorder Slide The Recorder Slide from Wooden Camera is a dual mount accessory plate designed to attach a power plate to one side and an on-board recorder to the other. The plate features multiple mounting patterns for the Ki Pro, Hyperdeck, Codex, Odyssey 7Q, PIX 240, V-Mount & Gold Mount batteries, wireless audio receivers, and 1/4"-20 accessories (via both threaded and pass through holes).
An L-bracket is included with the slide to enable mounting of recorders like the Atomos Shogun, Pix-E5, and Pix-E7. Additionally, integrated dual rosette mounts and the plate's namesake sliding capability allow for positioning in nearly any direction.
