Product description Increase your lens mount versatility with the RED Epic/Scarlet Interchangeable Mount for Blackmagic Cinema Camera (MFT) from Wooden Camera. The adapter converts your Micro Four Thirds mount Blackmagic Cinema Camera to an interchangeable mount system compatible with RED Epic/Scarlet lens mounts. This lets you use optional RED, Wooden Camera, or other third party adapters to use a variety of lenses including as PL, Nikon, Canon, Leica, and BNCR. Important to note is that when using RED lens mounts, electronic control of the lenses will not be available.
Note: This Interchangeable Mount is compatible only with the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K with Micro Four Thirds lens mount. All other Blackmagic cameras are not compatible. - Installation
- In order to install the RED Epic/Scarlet mount, you must first remove the MFT mount, spring, button, and pin. once this is done, the Interchangeable Mount is install using the included four M3 screws and hex key.
- Flange Focus Adjustment
- For proper flange focus, this adapter requires the use of an included shim set. The correct shims should be selected based on standard collimation procedure.
