Product description The Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate Core Unit (No Dovetails) is the central assembly in every Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate. With the Core Unit, 15mm rods pass through front to back and have 2 locking thumbscrews per side. The top dovetail slot features a specialized ARCA Swiss shape which can attach to the unified camera dovetails for Sony FS7/FS5/F5, Canon C100mkII, C300mkII, C100, C300, and C500, URSA Mini, Alexa Mini, VariCam LT, and VariCam 35 cameras.
The bottom of the baseplate has an integrated ARRI dovetail slot which attaches to the Unified Baseplate Lower Quick Dovetail (sold separately) but can also attach directly to any 2060 Dovetails, Safety Dovetails, or Shoulder Rigs.
For VCT-14 compatible mounting options, the Unified Baseplate can be attached to the Unified VCT Wedge Plate (sold separately), providing easy counterbalance ability while on the shoulder. This can be then attached to the Unified VCT-14 Tripod Plate (sold separately) which can be attached to the tripod head. The Unified Baseplate is backwards compatible with the original Quick Dovetail (standard) and Quick Dovetail (DSLR, large). - Upper dovetail slot based on the ARCA Swiss dovetail shape
- Pass-through 15mm lightweight rod openings with two locking thumbscrews per rod
