Product description The XK-3 Media Player Foot Pedal from X-keys allows you to use your foot to operate a software media player. Ideal when you need hands-free operation, the XK-3 Media Player Foot Pedal comes prefigured to control start, stop, and changing tracks. In addition, it can be reprogrammed for uses as a general purpose input device; actuating mouse, keyboard, or even game controller commands. The XK-3 Media Player Foot Pedal is USB plug-and-play with virtually all operating systems with USB HID support, and powers directly from the computer. - Configure for Media Player Operation
- The XK-3 Media Player Foot Pedal comes pre-programmed with the USB media commands for play/pause, previous track, and next track. It supports plug and play on all computers with USB and on tablets supporting USB HID input. This pedal installs as a media device and does not interfere with on-screen keyboards
- Use as General-Purpose Input Device
- The XK-3 Media Player Foot Pedal can be programmed to perform mouse clicks and specific keyboard operations too. To this end, X-keys provides free tools downloadable from their website. For Windows they offer MacroWorks 3.1 and for OS X they offer ControllerMate. In addition, SDKs (software developer kits) are available with support for multiple programming languages for Windows, Linux, Android, and Raw HID, the latter supporting any language and OS
