Product description Aerial Photography and Drone Glossary Read More The white X PlusOne Platinum Quadcopter from xCraft combines the hovering capability of a traditional multi-rotor drone with enhanced velocity to deliver a fast-flying aircraft that can take quality aerial shots at high speeds. To achieve both accurate hovering and enhanced top speed, the X PlusOne features an upward-facing wing in lieu of the traditional quadcopter design. This allows the X PlusOne to pitch over 90 degrees and fly nose-first at speeds up to 60mph.
In addition to its hybrid design, the X PlusOne Platinum includes a 3DR Pixhawk autopilot, which enables several autonomous flight modes and features. The Pixhawk is fully integrated into the X PlusOne Platinum to allow operation right out of the box. Control of the Pixhawk modes is managed through the Mission Planner software.
The X PlusOne Platinum is classed as a "ready-to-fly" aircraft, meaning everything you need to get into the air is included: a pre-bound transmitter, battery, and battery charger. The X PlusOne Platinum's rechargeable battery yields a flight time of up to 20 minutes, so you'll get plenty of time in the air. - Hybrid Design

- Thanks to a collaboration with 3D Robotics, the X PlusOne Platinum comes equipped with several autonmonous flight features that will enhanced your flight experience.
- Fully Autonomous Flight Plans
- Plan your missions using a Google Maps-like interface and let the craft fly the entire mission, takeoff to landing, without any additional user input.
- Follow-Me Mode
- With the Follow-Me mode you can have the X PlusOne auto-follow your compatible laptop or tablet.
- Return-to-Launch Failsafes
- When the X PlusOne's battery is low or the radio signal is lost, it will automatically return to the launch position and land.
- Additional Flight Features

- Loiter: Automatically holds GPS position and altitude for excellent shots.
- Fly By Wire: Direct the X PlusOne by simply moving one control stick regardless of the craft's orientation.
- Laptop or Tablet Control: In the field, direct the X PlusOne from your compatible laptop or tablet.
- Expanded Polyolefin (EPO): A lightweight yet durable material allowing the X PlusOne to fly at fast speeds and strong enough to take a hit or two.
