The color scanner can handle up to 25 ppm and can produce up to 50 ipm when in duplex mode. Also, it features an optical resolution of 600 dpi and a color depth of 24-bit for sharp, vivid, and accurate imagery. Users will benefit from the ability to scan a range of different document sizes from 2.5 x 2" up to 8.5 x 118" using the automatic document feeder. Durability is a critical feature as well, as the DocuMate 152i has a rated daily duty cycle of 2500 pages.
Assisting with the use of the USB-connected scanner are multiple drivers and software solutions. This includes Visioneer OneTouch for creating automated workflows and Visioneer Acuity for advanced image corrections and ensuring the highest quality. The scanner also comes with Nuance OmniPage Ultimate for accurate optical character recognition and layout retention for using the text in other programs, Nuance PaperPort Professional for document management, and Nuance Power PDF for creating advanced PDFs.
