Product description Designed for efficient high-volume scanning, the DocuMate 5540 from Xerox is a duplex scanner that offers both a spacious flatbed and a 70-sheet automatic document feeder for improved versatility. The ADF is ideal for loose pages, accepting documents as large as 8.5 x 118" down to 2.75 x 2" in size. It is also more efficient than the flatbed, capable of digitizing an A4 double-sided color page at speeds of up to 80 ipm depending on the resolution. For smaller pages or bound copy such as books and magazines, the flatbed can individually scan media as big as 8.5 x 14" legal paper in high-quality 600-dpi resolution. The DocuMate 5540 uses a USB 2.0 slot for connecting to your computer and is capable of exporting 24-bit color images in PDF, JPEG, or TIFF formats. A host of software is provided in an included DVD for easy editing of your images on both Windows and Mac computers, including Visioneer Acuity, which can automatically brighten and straighten your pictures at the touch of a button. Additionally, this unit is made to be durable with a rated duty cycle of up to 5000 pages per day. - Features
