Product description Extraordinarily fast and able to handle plastic cards with ease, the DocuMate 6440 Scanner from Xerox can quickly transform a paper-ridden office into a clean, digital-first operation. It offers speeds of up to 60 ppm and duplex scanning of up to 120 ipm using the 80-sheet ADF. Also, quality is high with an optical resolution of 600 dpi and an external color depth of 24-bit. Users will be able to work with a vast variety of documents as well, due to the ability to accept media from 2 x 2" up to 9.5 x 118" in size and work within a scan area that is 8.5" wide. Additionally, it is designed to last with a rated duty cycle of 6000 pages.
Assisting with the use of the USB-connected scanner are multiple drivers and software solutions. This includes Visioneer OneTouch for creating automated workflows and Visioneer Acuity for advanced image corrections and ensuring the highest quality. The scanner also comes with Nuance OmniPage Ultimate for accurate optical character recognition and layout retention for using the text in other programs, Nuance PaperPort Professional for document management, and Nuance Power PDF for creating advanced PDFs.
