Product description When you are constantly on the move and want to maintain a digital workflow, the Duplex Travel Scanner from Xerox will make an ideal companion. It is a lightweight 1.1 lb scanner that easily fits into a bag and is powered directly by its USB connection. The scanner also uses a 600 dpi optical resolution to ensure sharp scans and can work with documents from 1.5 x 1.5" up to 8.5 x 32" banners with equal ease by using the duplexing single-sheet feeder. It even accepts plastic ID cards and photographs. Additionally, users will be able to work quickly with a scan speed of about 8 seconds per page and they can access a continuous feed mode for multi-sheet documents.
In order to get the most out of this scanner, it comes supplied with a software suite to get your started. Able to work with both Windows and Mac thanks to standard TWAIN, WIA, and ICA support, users can also enjoy software that provides advanced functionality. This includes Visioneer OneTouch for creating automated workflows and Visioneer Acuity for advanced image corrections and ensuring the highest quality. Also, it offers Nuance OmniPage Pro for accurate optical character recognition and layout retention for using the text in other programs, Nuance PaperPort for document management, and Nuance PDF Converter for creating advanced PDFs.
