Product description Available for download, Xilisoft Sound Recorder is an easy-to-use application for audio recording in Windows platforms. With this software, you can record audio from any sound card's line in or line out, or from a compatible external microphone. You can also implement this software to record the audio of any program on your computer, including VoIP conversation platforms and music played by Winamp, Windows Media Player, QuickTime, and more.
This software features a Voice Activation System (VAS) which allows you to automatically record audio whenever a sound louder than silence is detected by your input. Sound Recorder also features Spy Mode, hiding all tell-tale windows and affording you the ability to record surreptitiously. - Record from Microphones
- Record from one or multiple extrinsic microphones, depending on your configuration
- Screenshot Recording
- Record all sound played through the sound card of your computer, or any sound played by other applications you allow Sound Recorder to capture
- Record VoIP Conversation
- Record and archive conversations conducted over Skype, MSN, ICQ, Google Talk, and more
- VAS Recording
- Enable the Voice Activation System to automatically start recording when volume exceeds the range of silence sensitivity, and likewise, to pause when noise recedes below the threshold

- Hide the main window, taskbar, and system tray icon in Spy Mode to record on the sly

- Monitor your recordings in real time—i.e., as you are recording—to make sure the level and quality of your signal is to your liking

- Export audio in MP3, WMA, and WAV formats; adjust sample rate, bit-rate, and channels as need be
- Auto-Split Sound Files
- Split large files into smaller ones automatically by preset time or size when recording sound
