Product description Fairfax Vol. 2 AD2 ADPAK from XLN Audio is a virtual drum kit featuring a late-60's Gretsch "Round Badge" drum kit, matched with two vintage Ludwig snares and a selection of custom, handmade cymbals. However it is the sound of the recording space that is really featured here. Since 1969, Fairfax Recordings (formerly known as Sound City) has been the birthplace of many chart-topping and culturally important albums, due to the well-maintained vintage gear, the rare microphone collection, and the room itself.
The versatile tones of the drum kit fit well in many kinds of music, especially pop, rock, folk and indie. The kit is powered by the Addictive Drums 2 sound engine, allowing for instant loading and tweaking of drums, along with realistic performance playback, all with little CPU load. The musician-centric interface and effects provide endless possibilities for composition and sound design. Addictive Drums 2 supports most major e-drum companies like Roland, Yamaha, Alesis, and others, and includes many mapped presets for e-drum models. Kit Details - Kick
