Designed as a compact 3D printer designed for professionals, the da Vinci Jr. 1.0 Pro 3D Printer from XYZprinting features Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) printing technology; a build volume of 5.9 x 5.9 x 5.9"; a layer resolution of 20 to 400 microns; a maximum print speed of 100mm/s; and the ability to utilize 1.75mm PLA filaments via its auto-loading filament system. It is equipped with a single extruder nozzle, an enclosed and non-heated print bed, and a 2.6" display. Users may print their compatible .stl files, XYZ's proprietary .3w and .nkg files, Windows .3mf files, or third party gcodes, such as Cura and Slic3r via wired USB Type-B connectivity or SD cards (up to 32GB).
To help keep things running smoothly, this 3D printer uses a 9-point auto-calibration system that determines the distance between the extruder and the print bed so that the extruder may be adjusted accordingly. It also comes bundled with XYZware Pro software and is hardware-compatible with 32- & 64-bit PCs running Windows 7 and above and 64-bit Macs running OS X 10.10 and above with at least 8GB of memory, plus Linux 14.04 or 16.04. Included is a guide tube, a feeding path cleaning pin, five cleaner wires, a USB cable, three pieces of bed tape, a filament spool axle ring, a cleaning brush, a scraper, an SD card, a power adapter, a power cord, and bundled filament. - The da Vinci Jr. 1.0 Pro has adjustable temperature settings for the extruder nozzle, helping to make it compatible with 3rd party 1.75mm PLA filaments. With its auto-loading filament system, the da Vinci Jr. 1.0 Pro helps ensure that filament is fed properly.
- Auto-Calibration System
- The da Vinci Jr. 1.0 Pro uses a 9-point calibration detection system that helps to accurately determine the distance between the extruder and the print bed.
- XYZware Pro
- XYZware Pro software has increased the maximum printing speed to 100mm/s, decreasing the time you have to wait for your prints to be finished. With adjustable software settings, you can also change the nozzle and print bed temperature, speed, print support, and retraction settings. XYZware Pro is compatible with third party g-codes, such as Cura, and Slic3r.
- 0.3mm Nozzle Upgrade
- A 0.3mm diameter extruder is available as a separate purchase for the da Vinci Jr. series and it is well-suited for intricate print jobs. The 0.3mm diameter extruder can provide a smoother print surface at a resolution of 50 microns.
- Improved Wind Duct Extruder Design for Better Prints
- The da Vinci Jr. 1.0 Pro features an improved wind duct design which helps enhance the cooling effect to provide smoother printing performance.
