Product description Enjoy enhanced multi-channel sound with the Yamaha AVENTAGE MX-A5200 11-Channel Power Amplifier. It outputs up to 150W per channel RMS at 8 Ohms and features a symmetrical internal component design to help isolate the components to minimize interference. The amplifier has an 11-channel analog input that can switch between balanced XLR terminals or unbalanced RCA plugs; the RCA connections can achieve simple balanced transmission by using a ground-sensing transmission method. Its speaker output terminals are gold-plated for enhanced connectivity. - Discrete Amplification
- The MX-A5200 provides 11 discrete channels of amplification with flexible configuration options, including channel bridging, to help it deliver both power and quality. Enjoy the flexibility of a multi-zone system or immerse yourself in surround sound using any combination of 11 channels.
- Bridge-Tied Load Configuration Compatible
- To further enhance power capacity, the MX-A5200 supports a BTL (Bridge-Tied Load) configuration for the front two channels to help augment sound fidelity and power in your front speakers.
- Rigid Chassis Design
- The MX-A5200 employs a double-bottom construction consisting of vibration control plates made of 1.6mm steel, plus a left-right independent construction strengthened by a rigid-frame structure to support heavy components such as heat sinks. The bottom frame helps reduce the transmission of vibration produced by the power supply transformer and heat sinks. The amplifier also features a heavy insulator designed to block external vibration to further help S/N ratios for an enhanced theater experience.
- Symmetrical Design
- Circuit-routed and designed with a symmetrical power amplifier layout, the MX-A5200 helps achieve optimal channel separation with the left and right sides being both physically and electrically isolated. This allows for an augmented S/N ratio to help provide an expansive soundstage and augmented sound quality.
- Toroidal Transformer
- The MX-A5200 utilizes a large, high-output toroidal transformer combined with two high-capacity block capacitors to help deliver intense power with generous headroom. This also helps reduce energy loss while accurately reproducing sound sources.
- Gold-Plated Connectors
- The amplifier features gold-plated speaker terminals that are compatible with spade connectors (Y plugs) to provide optimal connection to your speakers.
- Sturdy Bottom Plate
- The MX-A5200 employs a thick bottom plate that acts to steady the entire structure to help achieve optimal sound.
- Balanced XLR Connections
- To help minimize electrical noise from connected components, the MX-A5200 utilizes balanced connections for all 11 channels. Additionally, the alternative RCA unbalanced connections use a ground-sensing transmission method designed to achieve simple balanced transmission.
- Additional Features
-
- Three-stage Darlington circuit
- Bi-amping channel selector
- Auto power standby
- Current feedback amplifier circuit
- A.R.T. Wedge
- Digital Top-ART / high current amplification
