Product description Upscale your content to four times the resolution of 1080p with your 4K display and the black Yamaha BD-S681 4K Upscaling Wi-Fi and 3D Blu-ray Disc Player. In addition to handling standard and 3D Blu-ray media, the BD-S681 features integrated UHD upscaling technology to provide optimized image quality from DVD and Blu-ray video sources. Built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity enable access to free and subscription-based streaming content.
This model's HDMI output supports high-resolution audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio for a dynamic multi-channel surround sound experience. The USB port allows you to connect devices such as thumb drives for easy playback of multimedia files. There's also a digital optical audio output for feeding multi-channel sound to audio systems without HDMI. - Built-In Wi-Fi
- Built-in Wi-Fi capability allows wireless connection with your household wireless router, simplifying system connections and allowing you to enjoy network audio and music streaming services. If no Wi-Fi router is available, the Wi-Fi Direct feature not only allows you to stream music and movies directly from your mobile device, but also control your Blu-ray Disc player using the AV Controller app or MusicCast Controller app.

- Any resolution video image can be upscaled to 4K Ultra HD resolution.
- Various Disc Formats
- The BD-S681 supports playback from Blu-ray 3D discs, as well as from Super Audio CD and DVD discs. It is compatible with Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio surround sound formats. Additionally, for network use, it handles FLAC and ALAC 192 kHz/24-bit and DSD 5.6 MHz high-resolution audio formats.
- CD Mode
- CD mode reduces disc revolution by 30%, thus improving data reading sensitivity. In addition, the HDMI video output and other circuits shut off, and the combination of drive motor stability and disc rotation greatly reduces vibration to provide enhanced audio playback.
- Miracast
- Connect any Miracast-compatible smartphone or tablet to mirror videos and photos to the player, so the whole family can view them on a TV.
