Product description Yamaha Presents the DGX-660 88-Key Portable Digital Piano Read More The black DGX-660 from Yamaha is an 88-key digital piano that features sounds based on samples from the company's CFIIIS 9' concert grand piano, a weighted keyboard with varying touch response across the key range, and Damper-Response DSP. To add to the genuine playing experience, the keyboard also provides 192-note polyphony that will easily accommodate two-handed sustained chords with heavy pedaling. A built-in microphone jack allows the performer to sing along while playing and monitor the results with vocal effects via the built-in amplifiers and speakers. Also included is the Yamaha "You are the Artist" library for learning hit songs using the best-selling sheet music, or by reading the scrolling notes on the built-in Score Display. - Pure CF Sound Engine faithfully reproduces the tone of a meticulously sampled Yamaha 9' CFIIIS concert grand piano, allowing for dynamic and expressive playing
- Just like an acoustic piano, the GHS weighted action is heavier in the low end and lighter in the high end
- Special matte-black key tops are designed to absorb moisture, remaining tactile after extended use without becoming slippery
- Score Display puts the music notation of MIDI songs onto the screen of the instrument, for playing the songs by following the bouncing ball
- "You are the Artist"-series software pairs best-selling books from Hal Leonard with XG song files to play along with
- 192-note polyphony provides enough horsepower for dropout-free performances even while layering two voices, and playing two-handed sustained chords with heavy pedaling
- 1/4" microphone input allows for connecting a microphone to sing along while playing and monitoring the result through built-in speakers
- Record the performance to USB audio
- Wireless audio and MIDI features utilize Wi-Fi to stream audio and MIDI to/from an iOS device and the Yamaha instrument to integrate with compatible apps for iOS
- The Piano Room allows for choosing from a variety of pianos and acoustic settings to create a custom personal piano environment (even the position of the grand piano lid can be adjusted)
- Connect a footswitch and configure it to control various functions in the instrument, such as microphone on/off, style start/stop, or tap tempo
- Six-track song recorder captures performances and song ideas, and then allows for adding additional layers to spice up the recordings
- USB audio recording and playback captures performances to a USB drive
