Product description The FS Series FS830 from Yamaha is a full-size concert-style acoustic guitar made with a solid spruce top, and rosewood back and sides with a dusk sun red finish. The compact FS body is 10mm slimmer than the larger dreadnought-style FG body, providing increased comfort with no loss of volume or bass. Well suited for solo performance or playing with a full band, the FS830 utilizes a newly developed scalloped bracing design, which results in a powerful and balanced acoustic sound with stronger lows and mids than its predecessors. The FS830 features a nato neck with a smooth matte finish for ease in playing, and is equipped with a set of chrome die-cast tuners on the headstock. The fingerboard and bridge are both made of rosewood, while the nut and saddle are made from urea. Additional features include black ABS bridge pins to secure the strings, cream body binding, abalone plus white and black soundhole inlay, and a tortoise-patterned pickguard.
